!!!WDW.WOW!!!

i was able to spend December 11th - 18th in Florida with my family this year!

we had a really great time, i love being at disney world, and especially with my family! i couldnt have had a better time!

Heather, Celeste and I had a lot of fun 'Pin Trading'! we got new lanyards and everything! the family was really good to me: they let me plan everything out! even though we changed a lot of things, we still used our itinerary like a bible!

my family loves eating good food, and Disney is FULL of good food(hehe)

the family even let me watch the Parades, and sing to Wishes, and Dance with Mickey in Fantasmic....

Disney World really is a perfect vacation for the Mickelson Family!

we had to wake up early a lot of the time, the last day was the worst though.....
  • 7:15AM = Plane Departing
  • 5:15AM = Arrive at Airport
  • 4:00AM = Wake up/ Breakfast/ Loading Car
very early! then put that to UTAH TIME, we had to wake up at 2AM!!! so unfair!!

but it was really worth it--

[[ER]] + [[WDW]]

last night mom took me to the Emergency Room -

Perhaps i should start from the first:::::

About a month ago, i started feeling sick, just a cold.. while we were in Chicago helping uncle paul, my cough really started getting worse, at night i would struggle breathing.

after Chicago, we went to the doctor, and he said i had Bronchitis. i was given an Inhaler with enough stuff for 14 days...after about 5 days of the inhaler i began to have full nights of breathing, it was nice.

after the 14 days, my "non-breathing at night" symptoms began to come back...

and that brings us to about last night...

i was having yet another non- breathing moment, and it happened to be about 1:45AM-- and i ran downstairs to mom, and after i got my breathing setteled down she took me to the ER...

the doctor said that my lungs sounded ok- he gave me another inhaler, because it did the trick last time- he said that when we get back from Florida on the 18th, we could schedule another appointment to really check out my lungs and whatnot---

so yep- that was my trip to the ER-

exciting, i suppose-----

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

on a super happier note: on tuesday, 11th.. my family will be taking our trip to Florida to enjoy the wonderful weather, and the great company of a very important Mouse!!

we will be back on the 18th!

if your curious- i have taken it upon me to create an itinerary for our trip- its the PERFECT Schedule! (on the bottom part of the Documents, check out the "Day to Day" & "Dinner Sched" Tabs-- those are the most important!!)

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=ptbQf_-PiE-Y4dsmJ3b90UA&hl=en

hopefully that works- im so excited to be going!!!

so really---- as far as i can see, there is nothing to be depressed about---

the only thing that i can think of... is the other day someone asked me how long i have been working at the resturant; and my answer was just a few months...then i recounted..and it was 9 months...9 whole months of being in nephi and working at the resturant.... wow... so that is depressing... perhaps thats why im all bummed out today... who knows---

ok, well..blah.. time to go to work...

Biscotti day!

today i made Biscotti!!! i have never made biscotti before, but i have wanted to for a while---

it was a lot of fun, and VERY easy!!!

way yummy! mom even helped me to dip them into milk chocolate and driz-izzle with white chocolate-- looked purty!

BISCOTTI:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon anise extract, or 3 drops anise oil (or 1/2 Vanilla, 1/2 Almond extract)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together the oil, eggs, sugar and anise flavoring until well blended. Combine the flour and baking powder, stir into the egg mixture to form a heavy dough. Divide dough into two pieces. Form each piece into a roll as long as your cookie sheet. Place roll onto the prepared cookie sheet, and press down to 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Remove from the baking sheet to cool on a wire rack. When The cookies are cool enough to handle, slice each one crosswise into 1/2 inch slices. Place the slices cut side up back onto the baking sheet. Bake for an additional 6 to 10 minutes on each side. Slices should be lightly toasted.

last day of my brain

so it has been kinda weird to find out about my brain- the scans were good- i have quite a nice brain, so i am told-

from looking at my brain scans, my history and me..

i have been diagnosed with:
1. mood disorder (emotional
2. ADD,- inattentive type
3. Social Anxiety Disorder
doesn't that seem about right?

i have been advised a medical journey of three phases, one at a time.
  1. Lamitcal- a mood stabeliser
  2. Welbutrin
  3. Strattera
also advised:
  • daily intake of 'Fish Oil'
  • 30 min of aerobic exercise
  • Cognitive-Therapy
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin E
  • Multi vitamin
  • Coenzyme Q-10
Amen Clinics sent me a whole Evaluation Report, along with what i call my 'Brain Book'

so if you see me sometime and want a closer look at my brain, let me know-

well, i guess thats it on my brain- so right now i am beginning on a brain journey to become more healthy and learn to live the fullest that my brain will allow- woo hoo---

day2-brain scans

today was the second day of my scans---

the appointment started at 10:00AM, but it was pushed back till 11:15AM- dad and i took a quick look at the jelly belly factory, but didnt have enough time to take the tour- just check the giftshops--- we got back to the clinic and started with the history part, previously we were given a 20 page questionnaire to fill out, so today we worked with that mostly- we spent about one hour with 'Bob' our historian- he just basically followed up with the forms, making sure everything we wrote down made sense, and perhaps rewording a few things---- at the end he asked me to remember three things, 1.a red ball 2. mona lisa 3. shitaqua(an Indian tribe) he asked me a few questions in between then had me say the 3 items to him, i remembered.. mostly because i pictured mona lisa with a red ball on her head, and then i remembered shitaqua because there was a little bear figurine there and i pictured him 'shiting'+ 'aqua'...hehehe so silly he asked me a few other things, like how many floors were in the buiding we were in(one), what his name was(i only knew cuz it said on the clipboard i signed), what 3 similarities were with a Bike and an Airplane-- i said 1. sitting 2. seeing/windows 3. they were long --- yes weird.. he also asked me to spell my name backwards- leahcar noslekcim- i forgot the K in the last name- but i did the rest-- leahcar with no problems- so that was that-

after the historian, we had the final brain scan, this was was a relaxation scan, so i was to just sit in the same small room and just relax, this IV didnt hurt as much, it was in my right arm this time...this time i was alone, and the door was mostly closed- i dont really remember what i thought about, but again about 7 min into, Mike came in and gave me the medicine, and back to relaxing i was--- then he took me into the scanning room..and same routein, on the bed with the pillow under my knees, the bedsheet supporting my arms, a pillowcase covering my eyes and holding me head still, and a blanket on top- this one was a little harder, because i had already been relaxing, so to keep relaxing was a bit tricky-- there was a point where i needed to cough, it felt like something was in my throat, but i wasnt supposed to move, so it was difficult-- i just had to swallow deep and not move-- i guess i did ok though-- anyway that was it, after that, dad and i left---

we went to carls jr again for lunch- i had the same thing- a chicken club sandwich- it was good--- today we took our sightseeing day=

we started off going across the Golden Gate Bridge- (we had to pay 5$ too!) we got into san-fran and went to the golden gate park- it was a lot of fun, smelt the roses in the rose garden- we went to a japanese tea garden(4$ each) very pretty and tranquil! then we went to an observatory and both pushed our height limit-- i was starting to get a bit woosey, but thankfully the observatory was closing in 5 min... i secretly think dad was ready to go too-- but he wouldnt admit it---

after the park we drove into the city-- San Fransisco--- very dirty, and old-- not somewhere i would want to live--- we drove down Lombard street(halfway down anyway) and then to Fishermans Warf-- we stoped at some coffee shop (California Adventure Coffee Shop) and i had a wonderful Chai Latte- (Oregon chai if you care) -- then took an hour walk around the warf-- it was quite fishy smelling, and too many tourists for my liking-- i have never been a fan of the tourists--

we even saw the "Bush Man", aunt margo said that if anyway knew san-fran, then they would know the bush man-- he would hide behind some branches and every once in a while he would just kinda peek out and say boo or aughh or something startling-- it was quite silly to see

but still, too many tourists for me- so we got out of there- we came right back to the Olson Casa- had some of uncle jeffs good cooking and thats about all today had- it was nice-

tomorrow we get to find out the final results- we have a 2 hour sessions to find out what type of a brain i have(no, i dont have a monkey brain...or a pig brain) hehe :)

so yep-- then on friday, its back to utah-- woooopieeeee!

day1-brain scans

today was the first day- i was very nervous- i really didnt know what to expect- i knew what they were going to be doing- but i didnt quite know how i should be feeling about the whole thing---

anyway being here in california with the Olsons really helped a lot, also dad is here with me-- so im very surrounded by people who love me and care for me- gran is even here(she will be coming back to utah with us)

ok, so i woke up today, had a banana- and dad and i started our drive to Fairfield CA. it was about an hour drive--- i tried with the small talk to keep from getting nervous... we showed up at the Amen clinic about 50 minutes early, so we decided to go inside and start the paperwork and drink a lot of H2o-- i forgot i was supposed to have a lot of liquid in my system-- so while i was there i had 2 cups of water and half a waterbottle- yes, i used their bathroom twice today--- anyway 'Mike' took us into the first room, and put a IV in my arm, it was just as he said a 'small poke' after it was in i started crying, i guess i felt vulnerable- or perhaps just 'on the spot' just somewhat uncomfortable mostly-- but then he moved the computer to me, dad got to stay in the room, mike turned the lights off and shut the door most of the way closed, i started the concentration test-- basically it was a black screen, but every so often random letters of the alphabet would show up, i was told to hit the space bar everytime i saw a letter except for the letter "X"-- not so much a hard test, but it did take 15 minutes--- so it got kinda boring, and a bit tricky--- i hit the 'X' quite a few times on accident-- hehe--- about 7 min into the test he came into the room and put some stuff into the IV, stuff to make my brain glow, so the scanners would be able to see everyting!

ok, so that test was done, nice and easy, he took the IV right out- and we headed into another room, this room was bigger, and had a lot of white machines- i got to lay on a table, it was thinner than my body, he braced my arms so they wouldnt move or flop around, i had a pillow for under my knees and then he braced my head so i wouldnt move so much- it was nice and easy-- i had to lay real still on the bed for 15 min so the scanner could take pictures, dad said i held real still, i think i did good too---- i guess while i was laying still mike let dad see some of the scans, and dad said he could see my eyeballs-- hehe-- he said they were round socket things-- and that was it of day 1--

Chicago[dad and i]

dad and i went to Chicago- we were there for a business seminar- basically a restaurant managing seminar-- a lot of good information- it was good to finally be in chicago, even if it was just for 4 days---

i love eating out, i love seeing the different menus, tasting the different foods, feeling the textures in my mouth, smelling the yummy scents-- i love food

we went to four great places to eat, our fist dinner in Chicago= uncle julios; Mexican food. it was good!! i had a chile relleno, chicken taco, and pork burrito... i was stuffed! excellent service, a lot of fun!

dinner the next night was an Italian restaurant, calming to be the oldest in Chicago-- a really nice set up, it was a hoping place! not only was it in the heart of the tallest buildings, it was defiantly a favorite of many! i had a lemon chicken- the sauce it was in was perfect, it had the lemon flavor, but the texture of the sauce had the consistency of an alfredo sauce-- really good---

for lunch the next day we found Panera Bread co. top on my list--- i had a veggie medditrainian sandwich. and of course desert! i had a pineapple upside down bunt cake- YUM, and also a shortbread cookie!!

dinner the last night was in a super cute/quaint town= Glenco, Ill. we ate at Frank and Betsies!!! it was very Italian, i had a chicken breast with portabello mushrooms, and swiss cheese. the sauce was incredible! also a side of steamed veggies, carrots squash and zuchini, and yes, i ate all my veggies! also a small helping of very light and fluffy rice- it was floating in my mouth- it was the best- dad and i ended the meal with chocolate truffles and i took a peice of their famous "no flour chocolate cake" home- what a meal! it was in the perfect area, wonderful weather--- it was great

the weather the whole time was perfect--- not too cold at all, but all the locals said Chicago was an unusual 15 degrees higher than normal--- so it was great--

dad and i had time to visit lake michigan, i even stuck a finger in the mossy lake-- it took some convincing- but dad said i needed to--- we also took a road trip up to Wisconsin! we basically took pictures of the "welcome to Wisconsin" signs and turned around! but it was fun---

anyway it was a lot of fun, we learned some interesting things in our seminar, so yep!!!

someday ill defiantly be living there! there is no stopping me!

Big Tex[as]

mom, dad, michael and i went to texas!
we were in texas from the 19th - 25th!

we were helping out with a display for the State Fair of Texas!

our friend Paul (i call him Uncle Paul)does Garden/Train Displays. so this year his company Applied Imagination did a display around 'Big Tex'!!! right in the center of the state fair!

mom, michael and i helped fix up the small houses! they didnt get too much damage, just a little ware and tare from the trip from kentucky-- so we worked with the glue guns mostly.

for our lunch breaks we went to the South Dallas Cafe-- defiantly our favorite!!! we went most every day for lunch! it was right by the fair park- we had some really good southern cookin-

here i am with 'Big Tex' before they put him up--- he is HUGE!!!

here is a pic of 'Big Tex' he stands 52 feet high!! he has real Dickies denim jeans, and a 75 gallon cowboy hat!

with our display around him, it looked like it was his little toy trains! it was really cool!!

we usually finished work about 3ish or so, and we would have time to go back and shower, take a small rest, go to dinner and some sightseeing!

here are some pics that i liked the most of our display:

ENJOY!!!

too long

it has indeed been too long since my last post---

not many things have happened--- other than mikey and i are now going to SLC for our internships instead of Chicago-

and i am terrified!!! i dont want to make any more decisions!!

i would really appreciate it if someone would make up my mind--

i am a bit upset that i wont be able to live in beautiful Chicago- but perhaps later on in life--

i am right in the middle of my "2 weeks straight" of work-- and yes, i am getting sick of it-- well, not work so much, mostly the fact that some of the gals at work seem to have gotten in the habbit of not showing up then are using the excues of.."cant find a babysitter" "i didnt know i worked" and whatnot---- leaving 2 of us to take care of all the customers, and CLEAN the whole place by our selves--- it is very frustrating--- especially when there isnt much i can do except be the one to get the extra cleaning dumped on--- its lameo-

my compy is being very slow right now, its about 3 words behind-- im getting sick of waiting for it to catch up- i am moving all my music-so its being picky and slow---

yea thats enough--

cave of fears

forcing wake up-
4am-
sore mucles from clenching
tired teeth from grinding
awaking so wet, i double check why
sweat, a lot of sweat
too many bad dreams
one after the other
i cant make them stop
nothing can
forcing wake up
too scared to open my eyes
is it real- am i really awake this time
the last two wakeups were false
i need someone here to make sure this is awake
they were horrible dreams
my stomache is aching horribly
i need to use the restroom
i dont dare leave my room
4:30am
scared of what song will play next-
please dont scare me
sheep is hiding, he is scared too
it will be a lazy lazy boring full of sleep day
i can tell
they always are
its been a while since i last forgot my meds
but when i finally realised i was awake
i knew what had caused this whole episode
it hasnt happen for a while- but i knew-
my dad usually wakes up about this time---
so when i get more courage, ill go peek out
see if his office light will lead the way
i can stay in my cave of fears for a little bit longer
not too much though, i still need to use the restroom

name is name

two beautiful names i have never considered before: Sylvia & Sophia

i have been reading a lot of Sylvia Plath lately; The Bell Jar, Unabridged Journals, Collection of Poems... i really enjoy the way she can describe such simple things, and still keep my attention-

my granny told us today that her grandma Sophia was ambidextrous... and how she would do her quilting with her right hand starting on the right side, then switch to the left hand, when it got to the left side, brilliant! i do wish i could have thought of this!

Just another day...

right now, my ears are enjoying: deerhoof - plus81

so not so much has happened lately...

in my mind.....
Fireworks=Disney World

so on the 4th, i had to dig back a couple boxes and find my old Disney tapes and whatnot-- i also discovered a journal i had kept, not daily... but at least once a week...

wow, did that bring back the memories or what, makes me miss it! just about EVERY entry says something about all the great friends i was making.. AKA, Frankie, Shayne, Trevor, Keri, Katie... we all went through a lot during the time we spent together!

so the journal was great, i love what i had to say about everyone!! brought back so many memories i had (sadly) forgotten.

also, i have only watched one tape, but it does have 2 different "Wishes" on it, both really nice! the end of that tape was Keri and i at MK on our way to the Buzz Lightyear ride, and all of the sudden a super close-up of 'THE perfect mullet!!!" i had almost forgotten how much fun we had mullet hunting! they were everywhere! but this one, i must say, was top notch!!!

today at work, i had a really great table of three, they had asked if i was going to college, i started to explain how it just wasnt for me, i had been for about 3 years, but just not my thing. told them i started doing elmentary ed, then kinda drifted over to the radio broadcasting side... then i said im home now trying to save$$ to go to Chicago to do an internship, then hopefully have a career after that--- the table was way impressed, they were happy for me and said good-luck... they were on their way to yellowstone, then to mt.Rushmore, then a couple other places i forgot--- but they were super nice, and kept me entertained---- they said on their way back through they would stop by, and i told them to bring loads of pictures-- hehe---

right now, im just waiting up for bryan, waiting to see how his work day went. i need him to know that i love him today.. just because i do.

i suppose i could watch a movie, but im not sure which one to watch tonight-- last night i watched Monsters Inc... classic!! i love it!! perhaps tonight ill go for some Peter Pan, or Alice in Wonderland... hmmm tough choice---

ok, ill leave this at that..

Wednesday, July 4, 2007

happy july

so the new goal didnt work so well, it lasted for about 2 nights----

but on the bright side... happy july---

i had the past 2 days off work, i also have tomorrow off for the holiday--
celeste and i have started working on our bags! they will be way neeto!

my cousin Stephanie is getting married... August 9th is the day.. which oddly enough, is Bryan's birthday! she asked if i would be able to video the whole day!

im pretty excited--
  1. i have never been part in a wedding before.(other than at her sisters wedding we both caught the bouquet...but that dosent count)
  2. Stephanie and i havent been as close as we used to be, so i am happy we can kinda get over it and both be bigger people!
  3. the dude she is marrying is actually an OK guy.. hey, he survived at Aspen Grove this year!!

so im going to be working on some of my video skills.. it will be slammin'! other than the missing bryans birthday part... and him not being able to be there with me(his parents will be in st.g for his birthday) (which is super awesome though!!) (because august 15-22 i asked off so i can spend a whole week with him for our birthdays!)

ps: speaking of birthdays, mine is comming up shortly.... and there are a few things i have found that i might be asking for........

  • Assortment of Sharpie markers, lots of colors and different tips too
  • some MAC makeup would be nice
  • I Love Lucy DVD Season 4+
  • a trip to Disneyworld!!!!!

anyway- thats enough lists for tonight--- im way past ready for bed, i have been watching Scrubs Season 5--- i had to finish it tonight-- although i have already seen ALL the episodes so many times--- it just feels so good to watch them again!!!

new goal

i only have 5 min. to do this, but one of the new goals i have chosen is to be in bed by midnight- i would truthfully rather be in bed earlier, but since i usually get off at 11ish, then midnight it must be---

i have also started a book, inside this book i am filling all of the quotes i love along with some writings i have, perhaps some new poetry of mine---

the end--- i have been reading a really great blog lately, i feel the need to share:

http://zenhabits.net/

enjoy- and subscribe---

ps if you havent found google Reader yet, it is a MUST!!!!

Goofy Toothless

i am currently toothless- my Dentist decided to pull my front bottom tooth.

Aspen Grove 2007

Aspen Grove June 16-22 2007!!!

we had a total of 32 of our Mickelson family members at this years reunion.

we each got our own T-shirt, gran of course being the first in the family got a #1 on her shirt, and then down the list... i am # 12 in the family!

Aspen Grove is a family camp filled with a lot of different activities for everyone!

Bad mitten, Shuffleboard, tennis, ping pong, swimming, crafts, fishing, hiking, rope coarses and loads more that i cant think of right now!

This year our family decided to take part in the talent show, we did our many versions of 'Pop-corn popping' [see picture of us on stage]! as a group we all sang popcorn once, then each took part of the verse to complete our 'special versions'. the olson fam, did a 'rap' version, very unique and hillarious! next celeste and i went, i did a poetry reading, celeste accompanied me on her 'bongos'. next aunt lorie and stephanie did their best 'opera' voices and took over the stage with their voices. then christine finished up with her computer programing of popcorn. it was a lot of fun, and turned out real well. if i ever figure out how, i will download the video and post it, im sure its great!

it really was a lot of fun, we took so many great pictures, it was hard to choose which ones to share!!

a few of my favorite activities are: end of program Family Dance, Aspen Follies(all the familys get to compete in silly competitions and games), Frontier Night(getting a balloon, a snow cone, and riding the 'kid train' with aunt lorie and stephanie). and a new edition to this years reunion is... Water Coloring!

a Magic Moment that started this year was: being with the whole family letting gran know our special memories of her.

Aspen Grove is so much fun, i know that we all look forward to it each year!!! and as lame as it sounds, i cant wait till next year!!!!!

55 words - humphrey

"Hello," he says " how are the rutabagas this evening?"

i am shocked... why would Humphrey ask such a thing?
i don't even like rutabagas. I'm not even eating rutabagas. no one is.

i suppose i have to answer him... "umm, a bit salty for my likings"
then i understood his game. he was a hallucination.

55 words - butterfly

after she mentioned that she needed more ice cream,
i ran to the store. i would do anything for her. she
deserved the world. but i cant find the world.
neapolitan will just have to do. i got back from the store.
she was gone. she has left me. that crazy butterfly left me again.

review of the past few days

busy day today---- actually busy week....

i was able to spend a few days with my sweetie in st.George, it was nice to go back, i haven't been back since i moved home to Nephi.

a few highlights:
  • visit with Lori & Heidi of Perks! Espresso and Smoothie (former employers and good pals)
  • have lunch with Becky at the Pasta Factory
  • spending quality time with Bryan
  • purchased an Amy Butler pattern i have been wanting for a while
  • also found some material to make the bag-- way cute!
  • Cracker Barrel with my love
  • Becky doing my hair(it is a must when i visit!!!)

i came home to a few suprises, my love had sent me 2 post-cards, AND season 3 of 'i love lucy'!! what a sweetie!!!

about 45 min after i got home, i rushed out to the resturant to help mom and dad with a dinner catering event (nebo air fest) we were doing...

we ended up feeding about 125 or so... it turned out alright!

the next day(today) we catered lunch for the same event, but at a different location... and fed at least 175... lots of good comments! after we were all finished loading everything up, mike and i had about an hour before we had to go into work.... so we went home, and rested up a bit, then back to work we went... so almost a full day of work for the both of us! i know im tired!!!

i guess hoovie and i are having a sleepover tonight, she is in my bed... eh, i dont mind... although, last night.. either i was dreaming, or it really happened... but she was talking in her sleep, and i decided to talk back to her, so i started singing a song(rollie pollie ollie theme song) and she finished singing it to me... eh, like i said, it could have just been a dream....

ok, thats enough for tonight.

keeping me awake

  1. my tummy- its hungry
  2. my slow computer- if it was faster, i would be done with my stuff sooner
  3. music that i now have that i havent heard that i need to hear
  4. books i need to finish reading
  5. being able to save $ on food and housing...but not making as much as i was at my old job
  6. no one wanting to take care of me

im going to bed...again

latest update with pics

last sunday night i started feeling ill.. achy body, head-ach coming on... then the sniffles started... i am pretty sure i have finished off 4 tissue boxes... yes 4, the empty boxes are just chillin in my room....im still feeling sick. my voice decided to leave on tuesday night, its doing its best to come back...

a whole week later and i dont feel that much better.

although, on the plus side, i did seem to find more shifts to work... and this wed-friday i will be in st.g-- so thats pretty exciting.

yesterday my mom had her family reunion.. not too much of a show up.. but it was fun, we borrowed our friends blowup/slide things... it turned out alright!

my family with grandma and grandpa bosh... how nice
this is a pic of dad and i going down the slide- what fun...

im ready for bed, although its only 8:30pm, and i did wake up at 1pm, took a 3 hour nap.... so i prob shouldnt be tired, but i hear sleep is good when you feel ill.

Aspen Grove is coming up. the Mickelson's family reunion. its a whole week long. June 16-22nd.
all the mickelson family will be there.

so my lappy is completly full. which is no good for this music lovin' gal.... im going to be looking into another hard drive...

michael has been trying to help me fix my music, it happens that i had double copys of my music, but in the process, i have lost some of my beloved tunes.. no need to worry, i am getting them back as we speak..

lately everything i do is pointless/usless .. in michaels eyes....

EX#1. michael and celeste are making these stuffed animal things, and asked for my help, so i gave some ideas, and michael said they werent what he had in mind at all.

EX#2. my dad was going a radio comercial for an event in town and asked for my help, he wanted me to do all the talkin, but my voice decided not to want to. so i helped my dad with some of his pronouncation. you know, fixing his "mondeys" into "mondays"... and his "Ax" into "Acts" and also some "neboairfez" into "nebo air Fest" ... helping out a lot.. you know.. but michael decided to tell me that it was unnecessary, and it dosent matter how it sounds...

so its kind of annoying/ aggravating... becuase there is nothing that i can do that will be good enough for michael. ever. thats just how he is.

i want a rootbeer float, we have loads of icecream left over from yesterday, but mom wouldnt go get some rootbeer, she said she was too lazy.

i made hoovie and i dinner tonight, yep easy.mac... thats what happens, when mom and dad sit and watch movies while their kids(im still sick mind you) starve to death...

grrr... im going to bed- i cant do anything else on my lappy anyway.

work- update/ Dreams

today was my first shift being a waitress, i took tables and everything! woo- i think i did ok... there were a couple things i could work on, so i will!! but i had fun, the gals were nice to me, and they helped me out a lot.. that defiantly helped me feel more comfortable!!!

tomorrow i am going to go with mom up north, i don't really know what she has planned for us, i know i need some more black socks and perhaps a couple more pairs of black pants--- perhaps some Dream Dinners

we have 'Dream girls' here on netflix-- so im going to watch it tonight-- i thought it was great in theaters, so we will see...

not really too much else to blog, other than i miss my bryan so so so so so much- its such a difference to see him every day, spend all of our freetime together, eating all our meals together, everything together, then to move away... its just different..

i am so glad we are still together, we talk every day, and that helps!

i know that later on in our relationship, this will help strengthen us!

i love my bryan-

1:48

i am too tired right now. i really dont want to write anything.. but i feel like i should- im listening to Modest Mouse... and reading random blogs- a couple thoughts keep me awake=

  • my cousin had her second child the other day.
  • my boyfriend lives three hours away from me.
  • soon i have to be brave and take tables.
  • my mom is driving me crazy... again.
  • i wish i had more time to spend with my sisters.
  • i still have a few boxes to unpack.
  • im going to be tired tomorrow

Sunday, May 6, 2007

this is something that i have to do for myself-

woot- i get to see my Bryan on tuesday!! woot!

tomorrow i get to go to work at noon, dressed in my lil' outfit!! (i even did some ironing tonight!!) woo! im not on the floor yet, still in training, but my goal is my the end of this week to be done with training!

my room is finally getting clean! i can actually walk on the floor now!!! it took celeste and i about 3-4 hours to go through boxes--- we came out with 3 boxes for the DI, and 3 large trash bags!!!

it feels soooooo good to have a clean room! and its not even that clean, but compared to what it used to be--- its amazing now!!!

yesterday the fam went to Lagoon to watch Celeste in a clogging competition... she did great!! we havent found out what the judges think yet though... but it just made me miss clogging!!!

Celeste, Hoovie and i started a 4 hour game of Monopoly.... now, if you know me, you know that i am banned at monopoly because i am a sore looser!! my family banned me many many years ago... but we decided to break out the board and paper money and give it another go.. disney monopoly of course!

hoovie got out first. then it was down to Celeste and i.. and it was rough!! but we kept it friendly, i ended up winning the 'money pit' 5 or so times, which is what kept me in the game!

at the end EVERY place had a castle-- the biggest possible, and Celeste and i knew the game would never end... so we just called it a finish... but truthfully, i would have lost everything in the next go-round....

it was fun though.

also, another new little tid-bit... i for the past 2 years i have kept meat out of my diet... but this past week, for some reason, i felt the need to have at least one bit of meat a day... fish sometimes, perhaps chicken, beef...

very different textures... i think i have decided to keep meat out for a while, unless i am at dinner and its offered.. or something... but i dont need to have it... it tastes good, but i can still get the same good tastes without the meat...

ok, well mostly im excited to see Bryan--- i miss him a lot!! but im a bit nervous about his drive.. its only 3 horus away, but he is on his motorcycle--- so its a bit scary to me--- this will be his first big trip!!! i know he will be ok though!!!

another day

blah- today- not so much happened today but it always seems like so much--- i went into work today for a few hours-- about 3 or so-- watched some training videos, not too much-- then we had a two hour orientation meeting. i think they do one once a month. all the new hires get to go to it, we learned a lot. it was really nice for me to be on the other side of the 'training fence'. i liked it.

i miss my Bryan a lot!
i miss telling him my silly stories
i miss telling him my lame-o jokes
i miss him answering my questions
i miss his face
i miss his laugh
i miss getting him mt.dews on my way home from work
i miss waking up to a 'good-morning beautiful'
i miss his hands holding mine
i miss playing AC together on the couch
i miss watching scrubs together
i miss quoting scrubs with him
i miss forehead kisses
i miss my Bryan a lot!

i am still doing a lot of un-packing-- i have boxes to go through that are more than half way covering my wall--- i can barely walk on the ground-- my goal is to have it cleaned by the 14th, and have at least 7 boxes for the DI--- because having this much stuff is ridiculous!!!

but it really is nice to be home again- i have about 5 months here, then its off to the next adventure! i think it will work out just fine. im excited to see how things go, how things turn out.

DOG WALK

on Saturday 28th- Becky, Bryan and i went to the 3rd annual P.A.W.S Dog Walk!!!

we had so much fun!!! we took loads of pictures, and got to meet a lot of super cute doggies!

someday i want to have a pug dog, and we got to meet some!

we saw a lot of small dogs!

...and lots of BIG dogs!!!

i really had a great time! the dogs seemed to enjoy it too!

some racing dogs were there too! they had little fences they had to jump and a box thingy that gave the dog a ball when they hit it. the dogs knew what they were doing, they would run as fast as they could, jump all the fences, hit the box, grab the ball, and run back! it was way cool.

the funny part was, during the race, EVERY dog at the park was barking like crazy!!! but after the race was over, it was silent! it was silly- it was like they were cheering each other on- go dog go!!

it was a great last Saturday in St.George for sure!!! i'm glad i got to spend it with Becky and Bryan!

todays thoughts

i went shopping today- i bought 2 pairs of black pants and some black shoes.. no, im not going Goth..--- im getting ready to work at the restaurant!

i get more and more excited as it gets closer- but im also feeling very sad. very scared. very anxious.

im ready to get going, but i hope i dont ruin things. ruin things with my family, ruin things with my boyfriend, ruin things for me...

im getting scared, but i guess its supposed to be like that...

i have cried at least 5 times today. it feels better. my control is my writing. i am in charge of which words come first, i am in charge of when im done, i am in charge!

i am glad i have found what i need, to feel in control of what is going on.

i hope that i dont yell too much, that i dont get mad too much, that i dont ignore the real problems.

i hope that i can use my writing to feel in control of whats going on, that i can address any problems like a mature adult, that i can be comfortable in my real feelings.

rough week ahead

so it seems to be my last week in st.george.

hopefully for a while! im ready for a change-

my last day at Perks! was on friday, i might have cried.

jaechon, lori and heidi got me some going away gifts, very nice!

becky and i still have a few more things to sew, but i have the whole week to play-

im super sad to leave bryan, but im not leaving him, im leaving st.george...

my family came down for the weekend, dad brought a huge trailer. all my stuff fits.

even my queen size bed- woot-

the room im in now is empty, but my soon-to-be room is waiting for me to fill it.

im excited to be home with my family for the summer-

then mikey and i can move away.

through the little time we have spend together, we have noticed we do a lot of the same things.

example you say?! : easter egg decorating, we both had drawn lines the same way on our eggs, and colored them the same...

also, just a lot of random sayings we would say at the same time.

it just means were good siblings- we get along just fine.

my last college radio show will be tomorrow- im a bit depressed about that-

but if things go according to plan, there will never be a last.

becky and i have been crafty lately!

acoustic music just make things feel good on a rainy day!

acoustic songs/honey candy/comfty sweaters

home for the weekend

nephi is nephi- gran and i got here friday night, about 8:30ish-

we had lots of interesting talks on our way here. she told me about one christmas, she was about 12 years old, and she got a little dresser for her dolls, not a whole lot bigger than a klenex box. she said a few months later her brother Ray took it from her, and chopped it up like firewood. gran said she wasnt really mad, but she was probably very sad.

on saturday morning the 'Easter Bunny' came!!! (we had easter a week late this year) along with all the eater candy, i got a neeto bubble blower(see picture!!)! Mikey also got a bubble blower, but not at super sweet as mine- Heather and Celeste, AKA 'the Ladies', got hoola hoops!

Dad, Mike, Celeste and I went for a bike ride. now keep in mind, that the only biking i have done recently has been the the stationary bike in our apts 'gym'. so im not so used to being on two wheels. we only went a few blocks, just so i could get used to it. i was very wibbly wabbly. but i did get to wear cool gloves that matched my shoosies! the helmet did not match, but i was just borrowing my mom equiptment. rad. so perhaps just one mile for this short trip. later on in the evening, just dad and i went out again, just so i can get used to things! wich brings my total bike riding for the 14th up to TWO MILES woot!

we colored eggs yesterday, today we are going to launch them. its quite an event for my family. someday when i have a bit of time, i need to do a blog on my familys intresting traditions. ill post the pics after we launch our eggs.

Bryan and i tried ever so hard to visit each others towns on our Animal Crossing games. but for some reason, it wouldnt work. so we will have to try again- i am really going to miss Bryan. these next months ahead will really be hard.

Mikey turns 19 today!!! neeto!

the end.

today is a day

i am getting excited to go home- not really, but more excited to be done with work.

just a few more days, and so much more to do!

i took the day off today. i got my hairs did at Becky's hair school, we took away my semi-mullet. and took most of the blue out- it looks great!

ill post a pic of it someday. but Becky did a great job!!!

i also took a 4 hour nap, and had some disturbing dreams about gnome-mermaids. hmm, bryan suggested too much animal crossing. perhaps.

early day tomorrow- just 3 hours of work/training, the last training I'll most likely ever do for perks(yippie) 5:20AM-8ish. then off to sunset location to do some past due paperwork. lunch with bryan, back to work if needed. then off to Nephi for the weekend.

were having easter-after-easter-weekend. we didnt have it last, so we will have it this weekend.

weekend comes complete with bike-riding, egg-launching, and great-dalmuting!!!

also mikeys birthday-- #19 for him- woot-

morning mind mist

Becky and i bought material last night. were going to make our own bags- needless to say i didn't do so hot in home-ec... so i'm relying on Becky and her mommy to help me out. i think were going to cut our fabric tonight.

also i have about 9 days till no more working at perks!. and then prob 5 days then i'll move home to Nephi.

once i get to Nephi i'll be blogging a lot more. more time.

only 954.11 miles to bike this summer. how exciting!!! i'll defiantly be able to do it!

listening to the Pixies now, always good.

hottest boys in New York

I'm sitting here in my very messy room, listening/watching Newsies! ahh i love that movie- ahh spot, the toughest kid from Brooklyn.. what a hottie! ("never fear, Brooklyn is here") anyway, Newsies reminds me of a lot of people:
  • Stephanie and Korianne (cousins), for introducing me to the bestest show ever.
  • Lacy E. back from high school, after our walks home from school, we would either enjoy the singing and dancing from all the very talented boys. (she knew all the characters names! she was a true fan!)
  • Keri N. from my WDW college program, we would watch Newsies over and over again, we would do our best to learn the dances and dance with the boys. even driving in her car, singing to the soundtrack at the top of our lungs...
ahh yes, i do love Newsies- i wonder how many times i have actually seen this movie? a lot. thats for sure!

water bottle

yesterday i finished watching 'the science of sleep'. i really enjoyed it, the soundtrack, the concept, the storyline. it was all good. last night all i could think/dream about was buying a 68oz water bottle i saw yesterday at Harmon's. so I'm awake now, and i don't think i would use the 68oz water bottle, but i really think i should buy it, i have no idea why but i cant let it go. i wouldn't be able to fill it up each day(with good water), and it just wouldn't really work with me... i don't know why my brain says i need one so bad. perhaps its my minds way of letting me know how dehydrated i really am.

i just went for a 2.15 mile stupid bike ride, on the exercise bike in our 'Gym'. it took me about 15 minutes or so. but yeah, I'm pooped, and obviously not cut out for it. but stationary bikes are harder than the actual ones. so i think I'll be ok during the summer. just 997.85 miles to go. blah- perhaps i should go buy that water bottle. we'll see.

already missing you

im going to miss my boyfriend. a lot. we will still be together. ten months without each other. different states. i love him. i love us.
