birthday blog

my 22nd birthday was on August 24th!! it was a great birthday too! my birthday lasted about 2 weeks!!!!!

it started on the 14th of August. i spend about a whole week in st.george with bryan!

the first couple nights i was there i hung out with becky while bryan was at work.

bryan and i walked to the store for breakfast most mornings. we watched lots of scrubs, freaks and geeks, and arrested development together.

we watched the movie SuperBad, and got my car washed(inside and out!!!). we had a lot of fun enjoying each others company!!!

bryan and i went to las vegas to celebrate our birthdays the right way; the 20th and 21st we stayed in the New York, New York! we had a great time, a lot of shopping, walking, eating, we even got to see Stomp! it was really great!

i think my favorite part was being able to spend that much time with bryan!

i had to go home for work on the 22nd-

my family celebrated my birthday on the 23rd- presents, dinner of my choice(roast beef and mash potatoes) and chocolate chip cookies!

on the 24th(the actual day of my birth): i went to work, and mom and i went shopping up north!


i had a wonderful birthday!!! it was a lot of fun!

and everyone spoiled me WAY WAY too much!!!

anyway- that was my more than perfect birthday!

it feels good to be 22!!!

so far i like being 22!!

and the birthday isnt over yet... because my family is filled with august birthdays, we are getting together on sept 1 to celebrate all of us! so woooo for that---

cave of fears

forcing wake up-
4am-
sore mucles from clenching
tired teeth from grinding
awaking so wet, i double check why
sweat, a lot of sweat
too many bad dreams
one after the other
i cant make them stop
nothing can
forcing wake up
too scared to open my eyes
is it real- am i really awake this time
the last two wakeups were false
i need someone here to make sure this is awake
they were horrible dreams
my stomache is aching horribly
i need to use the restroom
i dont dare leave my room
4:30am
scared of what song will play next-
please dont scare me
sheep is hiding, he is scared too
it will be a lazy lazy boring full of sleep day
i can tell
they always are
its been a while since i last forgot my meds
but when i finally realised i was awake
i knew what had caused this whole episode
it hasnt happen for a while- but i knew-
my dad usually wakes up about this time---
so when i get more courage, ill go peek out
see if his office light will lead the way
i can stay in my cave of fears for a little bit longer
not too much though, i still need to use the restroom
