today i miss this... a lot---

this is one of my most favorite pictures of my brother Michael and me!

im not sure how old we are, but im almost positive this is taken at the airport in SLC.

mom for a week

this past week mom and dad went on a business/vacation trip(-- i like to call it a bucation)

i was left home to take care of the ladies- Celeste(14) and Heather(9).

for the most part everything went real smooth- although i do wish the weather would have been a bit more accommodating--

a gal and i were talking at work and i mentioned how it was starting to get tricky trying to manage the housework/the girls/and real work.... she then stated... "well you've just had a taste of being a single mom" -wow- i guess i have.... i didnt think of it that way--

things really did go ok though-- mom and dad made it back ok-- and once again, i am left to being just a silly 22year old living with her family, only having to worry about work-- i kinda like it that way-- kinda---


OUR WEEK!!!!

things we did:

• planned out each meal- including a themed movie to go along with it!(ex.. spaghetti and meatballs/ lady and the tramp!)
• made lots of chocolate chip cookies
• nightly yoga
• smoothies for breakfast each day
• experimented with fun recipes
  
• played in the snow
• let kittie in the house(she is not allowed inside...never... unless im in charge..hehe)
• kickboxing
• about 5 loads of laundry
  
• watched disneys Minute Men
• started harry potter year 1 with heather
• heather passed her x's 4's!!
• heather also got 100% on her spelling test!
• got to drive the old OLD van to school/work for a day
• finished watching Arrested Development season 3 with celeste
  

things we did not do:

• go to church
• go to piano lessons
• go to dance lessons
• fold clean laundry
• shovel the sidewalk(it snowed a lot, it needed to be done)
